"PEELING BACK THE RIVER" TECHNICAL SEMINARÂ

For far too long, the Riverland has had the unfortunate reputation of producing ‘just’ bulk cheap wine! In recent times, this image has started to shift as the result of the crafting of interesting and premium wines.
The FESTA DEL VINO ‘Peeling Back the River’ seminar will explore a diverse range of wines & strategies adopted by Ricca Terra and other winemakers that are changing the horizons for Australia’s largest wine producing region.
Some of the presenters and panelists include Wine Writers; Max Allen, Katie Spain & Jane Faulkner. Peter Dry- Former Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor Univ. of Adelaide & Banjo Harris Plane - Good Pair Days and our very own Sheridan Alm – Starrs Reach Vineyard.

SATURDAY 23rd OCTOBER * 3.00pm - 10.30pm * 171 Jury Road, Berri
This is a ticketed event. Ticket holders will have the opportunity to contribute to the judging of the wines and join in the celebrations of our wine festival. No prior knowledge required, except how to have fun! Tickets will include a meal and tasting of the Top 12 wines voted by the judges, contributing to the overall winner of "Best Wine of Show".
